Cushing Terrell Promotes Kara Eberle-Lott to Director of Architecture

Eberle-Lott joins architecture leadership team to help drive knowledge sharing for the group.

Multidisciplinary design firm, Cushing Terrell, is proud to announce the promotion of Kara Eberle-Lott to Director of Architecture.  

Eberle-Lott joins a talented architectural leadership team at Cushing Terrell, responsible for driving design excellence and innovation, as well as championing mentorship and professional development within the service sector. Eberle-Lott will specifically oversee architectural knowledge leadership, comprising internal knowledge sharing and education for every level of the service sector — from new hires to community of practice leaders. She will work with the firm’s other architectural directors to continually advance the practice and the team’s collective expertise in support of Cushing Terrell clients and their projects. 

“Kara has demonstrated exceptional leadership in everything she’s taken on over the past 14 years,” Cushing Terrell President Greg Matthews said. “I’m excited to see that continue as she broadens her impact across the firm in her new role crafting the future of our architectural practice.” 

Based in Seattle, Washington, Eberle-Lott is an associate principal, architect, project manager, and Seattle office leader. She has been with the firm since 2011, during which time she has helped drive progress through her Equity by Design leadership and exceptional client care, serving as project manager and trusted advisor from the initial design phase through project completion and beyond. She specializes in the retail and commercial markets with a particular focus on gourmet grocery stores and workplaces for high-profile, global technology clients.   

“I look forward to jumping into this role with its opportunities for expanding my influence beyond project management and leading our regional presence,” Eberle-Lott said. “As a director of one of our primary service sectors, I will have a firm-wide focus, working to build upon the strong foundation developed thus far, and infusing new energy into our knowledge sharing efforts.”
