SoFi

Financial technology company, SoFi, whose Montana-based team experienced rapid growth, decided to make new use of an old warehouse in downtown Helena. Once a storage facility used by Montana State Liquors, the building was constructed in 1936. SoFi’s identified this structure as an opportunity for adaptive reuse and hoped to retain as much of the rugged, industrial warehouse aesthetic as possible while achieving an innovative space for creativity and collaboration.

Together with SoFi, the design team was able to capture a bit of local history while housing a growing fintech team in unique, local digs. The new space includes an open floor plan with abundant natural light and features a variety of spaces from small rooms for conference/video conferencing to open and inviting gathering spaces.
