SCL Health St. Vincent Children’s Environmental Graphic Design

The Pediatrics ICU unit was being renovated and the hospital wanted to bring color and fun to the internal space, and to the children being treated there.

Cushing Terrell’s Graphic and Interior Design team introduced a “zoo” theme for the children to enjoy. Three-dimensional components of feature walls included colorful fences, aspen trees, and bamboo stalks. A magnetic activity wall was outfitted with a large selection of animals and a variety of habitats in the hopes that children could imagine themselves outside of their current surroundings.
