On the Boards: Montana Veterans Meat Locker
Montana Veterans Meat Locker is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization committed to supporting veterans and their families by providing free, professionally processed wild and domestic meat. Founded by Chris and Kristin Grudzinski, the organization nourishes veterans while fostering a sense of community and gratitude for their service. As demand for their services grew, the founders recognized the need to expand their operations to better serve the veteran community.
Cushing Terrell’s pro bono team partnered with Montana Veterans Meat Locker to conduct a feasibility study which explores options for expansion of their existing facility. After a thorough site visit, it was determined that was not possible at the current location. The team quickly pivoted to develop a comprehensive feasibility study and fit plan for a new space tailored to the organization’s needs. This study has provided Montana Veterans Meat Locker with a clear path forward as they seek development partners to help realize their vision for an adequately sized facility.
“The Cushing Terrell crew left us speechless with their design and concept ideas. Their technical expertise and attention to detail delivered a flawless design that left nothing to question. It was like they knew exactly what we were looking for before we did. Everyone was so great to work with and we cannot thank the hard-working crew enough.”
