Eagle View Landing: Building 3

Eagle View Landing Building 3, a three-story core and shell office building, sits prominently near the Eagle and Overland Roads intersection, facing Interstate 84 within the Eagle View Landing development. This 75,000 sq. ft. structure, completed using the construction manager/general contractor method, features a central core housing restrooms, a janitor’s closet, elevators, and an electrical room. The innovative design of Building 3 is part of the larger Eagle View Landing Development. This development was underway during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, which introduced unique challenges and required adaptability in both design and execution to keep on Ahlquist Development’s stringent timeline and budget.

Pandemic-related challenges surfaced when significant concrete and steel work was already underway. Cost control was a top priority for the client. The project team worked under a strict timeline with no flexibility for delays. The final result met the client’s expectations, leading to continued collaboration on future buildings within the development.

Resolving issues efficiently was essential to prevent schedule extensions and keep costs contained, especially given the project’s fast pace. Cushing Terrell’s close partnership with the general contractor enabled us to tackle challenges swiftly. This approach proved successful in achieving a seamless and timely delivery despite challenging pandemic circumstances.
