“Contrasting Stitches” Workplace

Cushing Terrell provided architectural, interior design, and graphic design services for one level of office space at the City Centre 2, Houston, Texas building. This project’s guiding vision was the concept of “Contrasting Stitches,” which combines historical and eccentric Houston elements while highlighting the City’s communal aspects.  

The design team combined earthy tones and vibrant styles, celebrating the local influence of ranch land and the whimsical Houston art narrative. Each floor quadrant includes open office space, team touchdown spaces, breakout areas, and private spaces. The space also incorporates interactive graphic design elements that tie the design concept to local influences using organic forms and natural materials.
