Boise Co-op
This second location for Boise Co-op became the Treasure Valley fixture’s first expansion project since their original location opened in downtown Boise in 1973. The goal for the new store was to incorporate a design and aesthetic that ties into the existing identity and brand of the store, yet also appear fresh, innovative, and fitting for the new suburban location.
Boise Co-op wanted to be unique and custom to compete with other large natural food chains coming to town; however, they also wanted to be clear they are a local, homegrown store. The distinctive design is highlighted by an abundance of custom work, a six-colored hexagon paint pattern, and a custom tree sculpture built around a structural column.
