From neworleanscitybusiness.com:
Software company Accruent has opened its new office space in downtown New Orleans for a technology center that will house hundreds of employees.
The Austin, Texas-based company is leasing a 23,000-square-foot space on the sixth floor of 400 Poydras Tower, a 32-story, Class A office building in the Central Business District.
The company gutted the entire sixth floor and rebuilt it from the studs. MAPP Construction handled the build-out while CTA Architects Engineers worked on design. The project started last October and finished in August.
Accruent’s expansion is expected to result in 350 new direct jobs in 2020 and 338 indirect jobs, according to Louisiana Economic Development.
Accruent has over 10,000 customers in more than 150 countries around the world. It helps businesses manage their physical resources and counts LSU as a longtime customer.
Its services include capital planning, lease administration, event management, maintenance management, engineering information management, and Internet of Things monitoring and control.
The firm plans to fill positions in software development, professional services, customer support and administration.
