2023 Cushing Terrell Golf Classic to Benefit ZooMontana’s Future Black-footed Ferret Habitat
Multidisciplinary design firm, Cushing Terrell, will host its annual golf classic fundraiser on Friday, August 25, at Eaglerock Golf Course. The proceeds will benefit ZooMontana’s future black-footed ferret habitat, welcoming these rare and endangered mammals to the zoo’s interior Living Wall project within their Discovery building.
This habitat will give us the opportunity to tell the story of the black-footed ferret while finding a forever home for those no longer in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service breeding program.

In its eighth year with a named fundraising beneficiary, the 2023 Cushing Terrell Golf Classic is expected to push the cumulative funds raised upwards of $100,000. Previous beneficiaries include the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County, Moss Mansion, Alberta Bair Theater, The Family Tree Nurturing Center, and Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch.
“This annual event aligns with our steadfast commitment to the Billings community, which we have been a part of for 85 years! We are excited to partner with ZooMontana on their new habitat as the zoo continues to grow to benefit visitors from Billings and beyond,” said Shannon Christensen, Principal-in-Charge of Architecture at Cushing Terrell.
