Omaha, Nebraska Core and Shell Office
This 41,000 sq. ft. project’s design concept revolves around interweaving: The distinct threads that define this team’s identity intersect to form the very fabric of the place. Omaha, a historically significant hub since the commencement of the Industrial Revolution, has long been noted for its pivotal railroad connections. Today, this center point of our nation is a crossroads of knowledge sharing and data transmission. The client contributes a unique thread to this intersection, fostering a stronger community and business environment.Â
Another key design concept involves the building and its site: The structure and surrounding landscape seamlessly integrate all the critical elements that make this team and Omaha distinctive. The spaces harmonize the urban scale of the place with a small-town sensibility of openness. Natural elements are blended effortlessly with industrial accents. Agriculture and technology meld. Freeform shapes intertwine with rectilinear patterns. Street art coexists with order. The fabric of the indoor workspace and outdoor landscape embraces a diverse interweaving, enhancing the delight and well-being of the end-users in an inclusive environment.
