Fisherman’s Harbor at Waterfront Place, Port of Everett

Fisherman’s Harbor at the Port of Everett is a new retail complex in Everett, WA. The complex represents an integral part of the Port of Everett’s 65-acre, mixed-use Waterfront Place development and will include a series of new buildings to support hospitality, retail, and office spaces.

The design features gable building forms — a modern take on the historical warehouses from Everett’s working waterfront — and pays homage to the city’s historic mill town roots. A mix of wood and metal underline the traditional form with a more modern, flat roof used to hide the mechanical equipment needed to operate the restaurant space below it. The open-air design features a large, covered seating area in view of the water and includes an outdoor fireplace located at the north end of the development. This indoor/outdoor experience provides shelter from the rain to allow enjoyment of the space year-round.

South Fork Baking Company is the first confirmed tenant for one of six new retail spaces to be included in Phase 1, which is expected to break ground in 2021 and open as early as 2022. The bakery will be located at the south end of the approximately 6,000-square-foot retail structure in Fisherman’s Harbor, adjacent to the new 142-room Hotel Indigo and the future 266-unit Waterfront Place Apartments.

At full build-out, the Port’s Waterfront Place development envisions up to 60,000 square feet of new waterfront retail. Phase 1 is currently in conceptual design. It is anticipated that the remaining two phases will be developed over the next four years.
