Jesse Vigil, Residential Design Director, Interviewed for Big Sky Journal Home 2025

Cushing Terrell’s Multidisciplinary Building Design

The talents of Cushing Terrell’s residential design team, with comments from design director Jesse Vigil, was featured in the Big Sky Journal’s Home 2025 edition.

Vigil spoke about Cushing Terrell’s unique, multi-faceted approach to architecture, engineering, and design — specifically as it relates to the human experience, which he explained is at the core of the structures and spaces the team envisions for its clients.

“We like to dig in and find out how you live and guide you through how these rhythms can be incorporated into your design through aesthetics and functionality,” Vigil said. “Residential design is a very intimate practice, and when the design fits, it can be impactful and memorable.”

Our structural engineering team also had a feature in this issue. Eclipse Engineering, which has since been acquired by Cushing Terrell, was highlighted for their excellent work on the Hollman Montana ski home.
